Thiruvananthapuram: The National Commission for Child Rights has registered a case in connection with the Chief Minister’s New Kerala audience in the incident of keeping children in the sun.

The action is also taking into account the news about the government order to bring children to the program.

Child Rights Commission Chairman Priyank Kanungo directed the Chief Secretary to take action and submit the report within five days.

The Child Rights Commission has stated that such acts are mental abuse of children and affect their studies.

Children of Thalassery Champat LP School were kept in the sun. A video of children shouting slogans from the sun has surfaced as the Chief Minister and ministers pass by in a bus.

KSU filed a complaint against this to the Child Rights Commission. KSU State Vice President P. KSU State Vice President P. Muhammad Shammas asked.
