The Humanity Tour: Vivek Agnihotri, Pallavi Joshi speak at the UK Parliament on India

Director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and his actress wife Pallavi Joshi are currently attending the Humanity tour in UK. The duo recently spoke at an event hosted by Baroness Sandip Verma and Member of Parliament, Gagan Mohindra at the UK Parliament.

The Humanity Tour of them comes as the Kashmiri Hindu and wider British Hindu community in the UK invited the duo to share their experience of making a powerful film like ‘The Kashmir Files’.

Vivek Agnihotri said, “Many testimonies that were woven into the film came from Kashmiri Hindus who Pallavi and I met on our research trip to UK in 2017.

“I hope the movie’s humanitarian perspective of the challenges and consequences of global terrorism, will be an eye opener for all and will reinforce the strong faith and belief Indians have in humanity.”

“The overwhelming commitment of UK parliamentarians recognising Kashmiri Hindu GENOCIDE is a step further in our mission that the “Injustice to Kashmiri Hindus is a collective failure of Humanity” The power of a honest film.,” the filmmaker had shared post the event, which was themed, ‘India, World Peace and Humanism’.

The Kashmir Files was a blockbuster film of this year, which earned close to Rs 246 crore at the box office.

Announcing his next movie titled ‘The Delhi Files’, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri had shared on social media, “I thank all the people who owned #TheKashmirFiles. For last 4 yrs we worked very hard with utmost honesty & sincerity. I may have spammed your TL but it’s important to make people aware of the GENOCIDE & injustice done to Kashmiri Hindus. It’s time for me to work on a new film. #TheDelhiFiles.”
