Apple phones command an exemplary position among smartphone users with the company creating waves across the globe, on release of their latest models. Apple far remains the most popular brand among Smartphone users in the US. However, studies show an insight to the changed course of affair in the US. Conducted by Propeller Insights, a latest study shows that the brand value of Apple has started giving way to the global leader, Samsung. Conducted ahead of the upcoming Christmas shopping festival, the study underlines that as much as 38% were planning to buy Samsung Galaxy S8, against a 20%, who opts iPhone X. With Samsung Galaxy S8 edging out iPhone X in terms of popularity, one thing is becoming more clear – the delineating story of Apple. However, we can’t deny the fact that the brand value of Apple still leads the chart in America. With more than 22% of the people participated in the survey preferred buying iPhone 8m the combined figure of iPhone 8 and iPhone X, still positions Apple as the market leader in America.

However, industry leaders suggest that the changed course of affair is just momentary. They cite the absence of popular iPhone features such as 3.5mm headphone jack and fingerprint scanner, as the major reasons, which pulled back the popularity of iPhone. With Samsung already releasing a video to cash in from the study results, industry is eagerly looking for a reply from Apple. Those who have studied the Apple story, knows that the company has a history of replying back with post sales figures rather than pre sales gimmicks.
