Bheeshma Parvam is a gangster drama action thriller film produced and directed by Amal Neerad with Mega star Mammootty in the lead role. The film which was released in theatres on March 3, started streaming on Hotstar on April 1.
The film broke many box office records for a Malayalam film, crossing the Rs 50 crore (US$6.6 million) mark in four days. On this success, Mammootty thanked the viewers for making the film a success.
“My heartfelt thanks to all the audience for making our film Bheeshma Parvam a grand success. That time itself I had asked to get a ticket. Those who did not make it, can now watch the film on Hotstar. Those who saw the film can see it again,” said Mammootty in a video released on Hotstar.
The film, which received a good response at the box office from the day of its release, has now entered the 100 crore club. Bheeshma Parvam has so far grossed a total of Rs 115 crore worldwide from theater, satellite, digital rights and other rights. Bheeshma Parvam is the first Malayalam film to achieve this milestone post COVID.
The star cast includes Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Nadhiya Moidu, Shine Tom Chacko, Farhaan Faasil, Dileesh Pothan, Jinu Joseph, Anagha and Sudev Nair. The film has been written by Amal Neerad and Devadath Shaji.
The film received critical acclaim from critics praising the performances, direction, cinematography, dialogues and background score.
