The battery, installed in Jamestown, has already started adding 70 megawatts of power to the state grid. Staying with the promise made by Tesla’s chief – Elon Musk’s words, the company handed over the battery to the Australian govt. within 60 days of reaching in on contract. Earlier Musk had put forward a 100 day deadline, before which he would hand the battery over to the Australian govt.
