Geneva: Tennis star Roger Federer and his wife Mirka donate one million Swiss francs to families affected by Covid-19. During this crisis, it was mandatory that no one should go hungry and that is why the money was donated.
“This is just the beginning, and I hope more people come forward with this kind of help,” Federer said. Federer helped out by tweeting a picture of himself with his wife.
Federer, who underwent knee surgery in February, is resting at home. All the sports in the world were postponed or canceled due to corona expansion. The Tokyo Olympics have been extended to 2021. The French Open, scheduled to start on June 24, has been postponed to September 20.
