Ten-year-old boy repeatedly sexually assaulted; 62-year-old man jailed for 20 years in POCSO section

The accused in the case of repeatedly sexually assaulting a ten-year-old boy was sentenced to 20 years in prison and a fine of Rs 70,000. Perinthalmanna Fast Track Special Court Judge K.P. Ali Akbar (62), a native of Tiruvalli, was arrested in a case taken by the Vandur police in 2016. Anil Kumar was punished.

According to Indian Penal Code 377 and other sections including POCSO, the punishment is rigorous imprisonment for ten years and a fine of Rs 35,000 each. If the amount is not paid, he will have to undergo rigorous imprisonment for one more year.
