Dulquer Salmaan has taken social media spaces to inform that the teaser of his much anticipated project, Kurup, will hit the media on March 26th. Retelling the story of India’s longest wanted fugitive, ‘Sukumara Kurup’, this DQ starrer is expected to hit big screens in the month of May. Directed by Srinath Rajendran, Kurup will have a simultaneous release in more than 5 languages, something that could to capitalize the pan Indian appeal of DQ.
The film comes with an ensemble star cast, which includes Indrajith, Sunny Wayne, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Shine Tom Chacko essaying important roles. Tovino Thomas too appears in an extended cameo role, in which he would be seen essaying the role of ‘Chacko’. Under the banner of ‘Wayfarer Films’, Dulquer Salmaan has produced the project. Netflix is the official OTT partner of the movie.
