Tata Motors has discontinued the production of two of its models – Indica Hatchback and Indigo Sedan. Incidentally, both these cars held the taglines of Tata Motors’ first passenger car platform and have been one of the most preferred units from the company. While announcing the decision, Tata Motors company officials maintained that the decision was mainly to adapt to the changing market styles.
Long players in the market, Indica Hatchback and Indigo Sedan have respectively sold 2,583 and 1,756 units during the last financial year. However, it must be added right here in that April 2018 has recorded neither sales nor production of both models.
