Tata Motors has announced that the ultra-high-altitude ultras will hit India in January

Tata Motors has announced that the new premium hatchback Altro will arrive in India in January. Tata Motors has also released a new teaser video showing the ultras will be launched in January. Tata unveiled Altro’s production model at the last Geneva Auto Show at the 2018 India Auto Expo as the 45X. The final product spec will be launched in the same format.

The highlight of the ultras is the fascinating design of the vehicle lovers. The vehicle is based on the Impacts 2.0 design and Alpha platform. The wide grille, sporty bumper, LED headlight, sporty rear design, large wheel arch, dual tone interior and premium quality interior make the Altros a distinctive design.

The 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol engine is expected to be included in the vehicle. This engine is BS6 standard. There were also reports that the launch of the Altos was delayed due to the delay in switching to the BS6. The ultras will also come in a 1.5 liter diesel engine. The rivals awaiting the ultras are the Maruti Baleno, Hyundai i20, Honda Jazz and Volkswagen Polo. Tata Motors will also launch its electric variant after the launch of the regular ultras.
