Leading the fight into the opposition camp, Aditya Thackeray termed the death of the actor, as unfortunate and shocking. However, slamming all the personal remarks made against him, Aditya criticized the opposition for mixing it up with politics and trying to mar the reputation of the state government’s success against brining Covid 19 under control. He however said that he shares a good bond with many Bollywood actors, which wasn’t a crime, as was pointed out by the youngest member of the Thackeray clan.
