Tamil superstar Suriya is teaming up again with director Bala almost after 11 years. The actor had earlier done the lead role in Nandha and Pithamagan. Later he appeared in a guest role in ‘Avan Ivan’ starring Vishal and Arya in the lead roles.
In October 2021, Suriya had announced his new project with the director. “He is a person who had more belief in me than I did. He made me experience new worlds. 20 years later, with the blessings of my father (Sivakumar), I am embarking on yet another beautiful journey with Bala with the same enthusiasm,” the actor had written in a note that he had shared on his social media handle while announcing this film.
According to latest reports, the film is shooting of the new film will kick-off on March 28 in Kanyakumari. The makers are erecting a huge village set in Kanyakumar for the shoot.
Meanwhile, Suriya’s latest release ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ is successfully running alongside the magnum opus ‘RRR’.
