Thrissur: BJP state president K. Surendran said that the non-bailable case was imposed against Suresh Gopi to make light of the Prime Minister’s visit. K Surendran said that the government is hunting Sureshgopi. K Surendran’s words were while speaking in Thrissur.
The Kozhikode police, who investigated Suresh Gopi, could not find any evidence. But Surendran alleges that there was a political conspiracy in Thiruvananthapuram after which it was decided to impose the non-bailable section.
With the elections ahead, efforts are being made to keep Suresh Gopi away from the people. Surendran said that such dirty politics is not going to succeed. The police are trying to save the accused in the Karuvannur Cooperative Bank and Thrissur Cooperative Bank scams and are trying to trap Suresh Gopi. Surendran added that none of this would be worth it in Thrissur.
Meanwhile, Suresh Gopi filed an anticipatory bail petition in the High Court the other day. Suresh Gopi approached the High Court seeking anticipatory bail after a serious charge was filed in the case of abducting a media worker.
