Suicidal attempt: Case charged against University College student

Cantonment Police has charged a case against the girl student from Thiruvananthapuram University College, who tried to commit suicide earlier this day. Earlier, it was the timely intervention of people, who saw her unconsciously that saved her life. When asked about what prompted her to commit suicide, the student commented that it was her unhappiness over the repeated instances of classes getting cancelled that led her to such a decision.

It was Attingal Police, which recorded the girl’s statement. The death note prepared by the girl, accused SFI unit leaders of the campus and college principal, to be the ones, who led her to this situation. However, later on, when recovered, the girl has gone onto maintain that she had no complaints against anyone on this incident. State Human Rights Commission has also charged a case on the issue.
