Mumbai: Sri Ram Shobhayatra was held in Mumbai on January 22 in connection with Ayodhya Ram Temple dedication day. But there was an attack on Sriram Shobhayatra on Mumbai Meera Road.
It was reported that stones were pelted on Sri Ram Sobha Yatra. Later, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis informed that 13 people have been arrested by the Mumbai Police in connection with the incidents.
But now the BJP government has bulldozed the illegal buildings and houses on Mira Road where the attack took place.
The Eknath Shinde-led government has announced that action has been taken against illegal shops and houses on Mira Road in the incident of stone pelting on the procession.
The Mira Bhainder Municipal Corporation demolished the houses of the rioters shortly after Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis warned of strict action against the rioters.
A video of illegal buildings being demolished in yogi style has gone viral on social media.
