Southern Railway Exams shuns Malayalam language

Indian Railway seems not having a good term with Kerala state, as the Southern Railway division has discarded Malayalam from its list of accepted languages. The move is sure to backlist candidates from Kerala from appearing the various recruitment examinations conducted by Indian Railway. While a majority of the regional languages have been enlisted by Railways, the exclusion of Malayalam seems highly condemnable for aspirants from Kerala.

Earlier, the Southern Railway’s questions papers were printed in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, along with English. Well, various organizations have reportedly decided to notice this issue before the Railways Board.
