Holding the tagline of the ‘first humanoid with citizenship in the world’ – Sophia has reached India. The humanoid with was developed by ‘Hanson Robiotics’, went onto make its presence felt in India, when it reached an event held at IIT Bombay. During the event, she was seen answering the questions raised by the audience, while her demeanor really wooed the audience.
The function was attended by some 3,000 audiences, who however were disappointed for a short while, when she suddenly stopped functioning, due to a technical glitch. Resumed soon then, Sophia continued delivering thoughtful responses.
