Sony Xperia XZ1 with Android 8.0 Oreo, 3D scanning camera launched at Rs 44,990

At INR 44,990 the new flagship smartphone of Sony is all set to tighten the competition in mid to luxurious gadget segment. Xperia XZ1, which was launched in Berlin last month, has started off its Indian journey with the Black colour variant.

However what makes Sony Xperia XZ1 unique in India is the presence of Android 8.0 Oreo as its OS. Apart from Google smartphones, no other smartphones have made their presence felt in India. Besides, the 8.0 Oero, Xperia XZ1 also comes up with a 3D scanning mode – enabling users to capture high-resolution 3D images of an object. Having a 5.2 inch full HD (1080×1920) display, the device supports dual SIM cards. It is powered by an octa core Snapdragon 835 processor, while the device has 4GB RAM and an inbuilt storage capacity of 64GB.

Talking about the primary camera, the Motion Eye 19MP Exmor RS Sensor camera takes pictures at 960 frames per second, while it is also capable of recording 4K videos. On the other hand, you would spot a selife camera with a 13MP sensor coupled with a 22mm wide angle lens and an aperture of f/2.0 lens. With Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging facility, this smartphone is powered by a 2700mAh battery.
