Sony has decided to increase the prices of PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro, following the Union Budget 2018 announcement. As the Indian govt. had decided to increase the customs duty of electronics products from 10 percentages to 20 percentages, Sony has hiked the prices of its consoles in a similar manner.
From INR 38,990, the price of PS4 will go and touch INR 41,990. On the other hand, PS4 Slim will now costs INR 4,000, more than that of its initial pricing. While the 500GB variant will now costs INR 35,990, the 1TB variant would be costing INR 32,990. The latest price chart will come into effect from February 21 onwards.
