Priced at INR 14,990 and INR 12,990 respectively, Sony has launched two mid range smartphones before its Indian customer base. While the pre registration of the devices have already started off in Amazon from October 27th onwards, it is been reported that both the devices would start reaching the e commerce platforms of Amazon and Flipkart from November 10th only.
Unveiling the key features of the devices, Sony informed that both carry almost identical specifications. Apart from a premium HD display out from the 5.2 inch screen, the devices sport a 13MP Autofocus camera, coupled with Exmor. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430, the latest products from Sony, also ensures faster upload of data via Uplink Data Compression (UDC). Having VoLte and 4G broadcast, R1 and R Plus comes with Android Oreo 8.0 ready.
