Kochi: LDF convener EP Jayarajan defended Speaker AN Shamseer's attendance at the wedding of TP Chandrasekaran murder case accused Muhammad Shafi. EP Jayarajan responded that it is a communist value.
Muhammad Shafi got married on July 6, 2017. The court granted parole for marriage when he was serving life imprisonment in the TP Chandrasekaran murder case.
The marriage was held at Kannur Gramati Juma Masjid. Shamseer had come to attend the wedding.
Shamseer had reached Shafi's house near Chokli Muthappankav.
As the incident became controversial, Shamsir responded that there was nothing wrong in going to congratulate him on the marriage.
