Satchidanandan insulted the song as a cliché and it would become a hit, and within two months the song would be recorded and published on YouTube; Sreekumaran Thambi

Kochi: Poet Sreekumaran Thambi said that the song insulted by Sahitya Akademi chairman K Satchidanandan as a cliché will become a hit.

Sreekumaran Thambi said that the song will be recorded and published on YouTube within two months.
He said that there is no doubt that people will accept the song.

Sreekumaran Thambi also mocked that Sachidanandan, who criticized his song, was a self-proclaimed 'international poet'.

Sreekumaran Thambi said that he is not ready to do any writing for Kerala Sahitya Akademi and will not accept even an award from them.

Meanwhile, Sreekumaran Thambi made allegations against the Kerala Sahitya Akademi through social media. K Satchidanandan and Academy Secretary Abu Bakar wrote the song as requested.

Later, the two rewrote the song as requested. But it was not known whether the corrected song was accepted or not. Sreekumaran Thambi wrote in a Facebook post that he saw an advertisement inviting Kerala songs from poets.

His allegation was that he had to be humiliated in front of KC Abubakar, a prose poet who had written more than 3000 songs.

Later, Sahitya Akademi Chairman K Satchidanandan came to respond to Sreekumaran Thambi's allegations.

The Kerala song is decided by a committee. Sreekumaran Thambi's song was rejected by that committee. Sachidanandan said that he informed Sreekumaran Thambi about the rejection of the song by the Academy Secretary and that he is a person who respects his songs.

The rejection of Sreekumaran Thambi's song was not a decision of one person but a decision of a committee. No one in the committee seemed to agree with Sreekumaran Thambi's song.

Satchidanandan also said that the song was rejected due to many reasons including clichés and not a simple song that everyone can sing.

Sreekumaran rejected that particular song, not Thambi's song world. Sreekumaran Thambi's song had clichés.

He was asked to make some changes. Satchidandan also said that Sreekumaran Thambi did not change the song.
