Lijo Jose Pellissery’s latest film is ‘Malaikottai Valiban.’ Sanjana, a native of Poovattuparam, Kozhikode, has won the state government’s transgender award for excellence in arts and sports at the age of 24. In the film, Sanjana has played the role of the maid of Rangapattinam Rangarani, played by Marathi star Sonali Kulkarni. Yes, Sanjana’s character Thenamma is present in all the crucial scenes. In the climactic scene also the role of the honey bee plays a big role in reversing the direction of the story.
