Samsung Electronics has announced a new monitor, CJ791, the first curved monitor featuring Intel’s Thunderbolt 3 connectivity. The 34 inch CJ791 model has got a single source power, while the Thunderbolt 3 cable will enable it to be connected with a laptop without any external wiring. The presence of Thunderbolt 3 connection ensures a speed of up to 40Gbps.
Another area which the Thunderbolt 3 interface strengthened, was the power segment, by providing 85W of laptop charging power. That said, CJ791 has got a 21:9 aspect ratio, while the resolution figure stands at 3440 x 1440 ultra wide QHD.
