Samsung has secured patent for rollable display with fingerprint sensor. The patent, which was published in the WIPO database, will have a flexible display panel and is going to be curled around a main body. The main body is said to have a metallic material and the display will have more than one magnets. That said, the cylindrical model will have a roller that can essentially rotate.
Along with the rollable display, comes the integrated fingerprint scanner feature. It must be added right here in that last month, LG too had come up with a patent on rollable display. The rollable display from LG, however sported a cassette containing a rotating motor.
