In line with Sabarimala verdict, director Rajasenan has come up with some marked comments. Expressing his state of sadness, Rajasenan maintained that the SC verdict would give way for communal rift in the society. He was seen furious over the verdict and questioned the motive behind the SC announcing right for women of all ages to enter Sabarimala temple. He maintained that no real female devotee would go to the temple, if they come between the age bracket of 10 and 50. Strongly disagreeing with the decision of SC, Rajasenan accused the state government for supporting those who wanted entering Sabarimala defying the rule of age.
Attacking the state government further, Rajasenan expressed his concerns over the future of temples, while he saw no good reason for people rejoicing over the SC verdict. However, the veteran director said that he respects the apex status of the SC. Rajasenan is the latest one to join the band wagon of people from film fraternity, who had openly expressed their unhappiness over the SC verdict.
