RS Vimal’s period film Dharma Rajya to have a Pan – Indian cast

Director RS Vimal is all set to direct his next film. The ’Ennu Ninte Moideen’ director will be making a film based on the Travancore royal history. Titled as ‘Dharma Rajya’, the film is all about a real-life hero from the Travancore kingdom. Essentially a multilingual project planned to be made as a multilingual in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages, the ambitious film will boast a pan – Indian cast. Going in line with the words of director RS Vimal, a superstar from Malayalam would be playing the lead role, though he hasn’t divulged the name of the star.

As far as the star cast, which includes several leading names from all the major film industries, ‘Dharma Rajya’ will be produced by ‘Pooja Entertainments’. Going in line with the director’s words, the project would be India’s first film to be captured through virtual production in London. Meanwhile, RS Vimal had also been working on a project, which is based on Mahabharata and positioning Karna as the central character. Set on big canvas, the film was supposed to star Prithviraj in the lead role. However, the star has reportedly opted out from the project, citing creative differences. However, the current cast has Chiyaan Vikram playing the lead hero.
