Royal Enfield preparing to widen its India portfolio and is going to launch an all new Thunderbird variant. The upcoming model, which is likely to be called the Thunderbird 500X will sport a dual tone paint scheme. That said, even before the official launch, we came to know that there would be four colour variants from Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500X – Red, White, Blue and Yellow.
The BS IV compliant, 499cc engine can produce a maximum power of 27bhp at 5,250rpm, while the peak torque value stands at 41.3Nm at 4,000rpm. The model is expected to be priced around INR 2.7 Lakh, though we will have to wait for an official note in this regard.
