Ritesh Pandey, one of the opposition MPs who attended Prime Minister Narendra Modi's banquet along with RSP leader NK Premachandran, has left the BSP.
Joined BJP. Ritesh, who resigned as primary member of BSP this morning, later came to the BJP headquarters in Uttar Pradesh and accepted the party membership.
UP Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Patha gave Ritesh BJP membership. Ritesh was a BSP MP from Ambedkar Nagar Lok Sabha constituency in UP.
Meanwhile, Ritesh is one of the eight MPs invited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a special dinner during the last Parliament session.
RSP leader NK Premachandran from Kerala, Telugu Desam Party MP Ram Mohan Naidu, Sasmit Patra of Biju Janata Dal and BJP MPs L Murugan, Heena Gavit, Jamyang Tshering Nangyal and Phangyong Konyak were among the other members of parliament who attended the banquet.
