In the issue of Producers’ Association raising demands for cutting down the remuneration of artists and technicians, FEFKA has taken a positive stance. The FEFKA officials informed that only preliminary level of discussion has been performed. The association would have a detailed meeting, once the official letter from Producers’ Association reaches FEFKA. Officials maintained that a final decision would be taken only after discussing the matter with all the parties concerned.
Earlier, Producers Association had taken some strong stances in reducing the production cost, on the wake of the Covid crisis. However, AMMA has not commented on the matter. It is also learnt that Producers’ Association is yet to raise this issue before AMMA in an official manner. AMMA’s general secretary has ensured that once an official letter is received from Producers’ Association, the issue would definitely be taken into consideration.
