The trailer of the heartwarming film ‘777 Charlie’ was released today in five different languages- Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. Directed by K Kiranraj, the film features Rakshit Shetty in the lead role. The film release on June 10.
The Malayalam trailer has been released through the social media pages of Nivin Pauly, Tovino Thomas, Asif Ali, Antony Varghese and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Prithviraj is presenting the Malayalam version of the film.
The film revolves around the relationship between a man and his pet dog. “Our years of journey is pieced into a short snippet for you. This is a prelude to all that June 10th is going to bring, we hope you receive it with love,” Rakshit tweeted during the trailer release.
Rakshit is essaying the character of Dharma, who has lost interest in life. His life is trapped in a toxic pattern of loneliness and boredom. “I think I am living my life right. But, the way people look at my life is wrong. Home, factory, fights, idli, cigarette, beer – this is my life. Nothing interesting,” Dharma tells with the spirit of a stoic.
He finds a ray of hope when a dog leaps into his life. How the dog Charlie shapes the life of Dharma, forms the crux of the story. 777 Charlie also stars Sangeetha Sringeri, Raj B Shetty, Danish Sait and Bobby Simha.
