Radhika Khera quit Congress due to disrespect from party workers. She was locked inside her room to visit Ram Mandir.

Congress national media coordinator Radhika Khera resigned from the party on Sunday after finding fault with the Ayodhya Ram temple stand and complaining that she did not get justice from the party for the disrespect she faced from activists in Chhattisgarh.

She resigned from the party shortly after former Delhi Congress president Arvinder Singh Lovely and four other leaders joined the BJP to protest its alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party and fielding “unfamiliar” candidates.

In a letter to Kharge, she faced criticism from within the party as she could not stop herself from visiting the Ram temple in Ayodhya and seeing the 'Ram Lalla' idol. She also claimed that her action led to her not getting justice in Chhattisgarh's complaint of ill-treatment. “I faced such stiff opposition because I could not stop myself from visiting Ram Lalla in Ayodhya,” she said.

She said that she has always fought for the justice of others but when it came to her own issue, she lost in the party.
