Qualcomm unveils Snapdragon 768G processor with 5G support

Global chip maker Qualcomm unveils new Snapdragon 768G processor. The new processor has been enhanced with CPU and GPU capability. This is an updated version of the Snapdragon 765G processor launched earlier. The Snapdragon 768G is the first 7 series processor with Adreno’s updated GPU driver. This processor can support screens with refresh rates up to 120 Hz.

The CPU gets up to 2.8 GHz, while the Adreno GPU can reach 725 MHz. The Snapdragon 768G processor is designed to improve gaming performance, provide 5G connectivity, better handling of multiple cameras and better battery charge.

The Snapdragon X52 comes with 5G modem-RF, and the Snapdragon 768G processor works in all regions. Other features include 5GM wave, sub-6GHz, 5GSA, NSA modes, TDD with dynamic spectrum sharing (DSS), FDD and global 5G roaming, and support for multi-SIM. The Snadragon X52 5G modem is designed to provide download speeds of up to three Gbps and up to 1.36 Gbps download speeds.
