Possible reshuffle of union cabinet soon; K V Kamath to replace Nirmala Sitharaman

The possibility of reorganization in the Union Cabinet Reports suggest that there will be a major reshuffle, including that of the finance minister. KV Kamath, the head of the BRICS bank, New Development Bank to replace Nirmala Sitharaman as the finance minister. There is speculation that Kamath will resign as NDB president if her joins the union cabinet.

In the reorganization, Jyotiraditya Scindia, who recently left the Congress and joined the BJP, may also make room. Earlier, news agencies, including IANS, reported that Kamat would come to the cabinet. The names of Nandan Nilekani, Mohandas Pai and Suresh Prabhu are also on the rise.
