Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC General Secretary and late former Chief Minister K Karunakaran's daughter Padmaja Venugopal has accepted BJP membership.
Padmaja Venugopal accepted BJP membership at a ceremony held at the BJP National Headquarters in Delhi.
After arriving in Delhi, Padmaja visited Kerala in-charge Prakash Javadekar's house and held discussions.
Later, K Surendran came to the stage to welcome Padmaja. K Surendran wrote on social media that she is welcome Mrs. Padmaja Venugopal.
Mr. A. K. Like Antony's son Anil K Antony, leader K. Karunakaran's daughter and B. J. to P. Kerala and Mr. Forward with Narendra Modi. Surendran also said welcome to nationalism.
As a Congress candidate, Padmaja contested for the Lok Sabha from Mukundapuram in 2004 and for the Legislative Assembly from Thrissur in 2021 and failed.
