Ola has launched a new nationwide campaign, which aims strengthening the ‘road & ride safety’ program. Titled the ‘Street Safe’, the campaign was flagged off by the Police Commissioner of Delhi, Amulya Patnaik. Along with the campaign, the commissioner also unveiled the child lock disablement stickers, which are designed to remind passengers for checking and disabling the ‘child lock’, while driving.
Ola is the first of its kind ride sharing company in India to come up with norms, which comply with the regulations and notifications produced by the State Transport Authority. In line with the campaign, officials of Ola also commented that they would conduct workshops for their cab drivers across the country.
