Nokia, while talking from its Research and Development centre in India, said that they have already started focusing on the new generation technologies in the country, with a specific interest on 5G mobile network architecture. Already eyeing to increase the number of staff members, the Finnish telecom major also expressed optimism in rolling out 5G technology by the year of 2020. While speaking about the process, Nokia company officials maintained that they have already reached in on terms with some 14 industrial partners in European Union.
Already working extensively on its dedicated 5G/IoT lab in the country, Nokia has partnered with Bharti Airtel and BSNL in terms of strengthening the 5G network. The Bengaluru research centre is expected to provide more updates regarding Nokia’s technological expansion.
