Toyota is gearing up for launching the new Yaris Cross variant, internationally. The Yaris Cross has got some visible changes on its exterior, with the roof rails, black cladding on the side as well as wheel arch moulding differentiating the new variant. Powered by a 1.5 liter, fourcylinder petrol motor, the engine of Toyoto Yaris Cross is capable of producing a power of 107bhp. The peak torque figure for Toyota Yaris Cross stands at 140Nm. The engine is mated with a six speed manual gear and a seven step CVT automatic mode.
It has to be seen how this rugged version of Yaris Hatchback is going to be received by the market.
