New Features Will Be Added to ‘old’ Phone Cameras Too- APPLE

Apple is rumored to be adding new features to the cameras of ‘old’ phones from iOS 14 and the iPhone 6S available with it. Apple did not mention this at the recently concluded Worldwide Developer Conference. It is rumored that the new features will be available on handsets including iPhone 6S and 7. If this is true, it’s a move that has never been made before. Apple has announced that it will change the way it looks on the home screen, give Siri a new look, and bring in picture-in-picture mode. In addition to these are the new features that have not been officially announced.

Apple is now going to break the routine of giving many of the camera features to the models that are usually released that year. Of course, the iPhone 12 models will have more advanced features than these. However, let’s take a look at the features that are said to be available for the camera of older phones through iOS 14. Keep in mind that not all features are available for all models.

The speed of the cameras will increase. The app can be opened quickly. Photos will be processed faster. In portrait mode available models it will work even faster. The user may feel that the overall speed of the phone has increased with the speed of the camera. In the settings, you will see a feature called ‘Priority Fast Shooting’. It is said that this will give better results even when taking a photo quickly.

In iOS 14, if you open the camera app and press the volume up button, best mode will be enabled. On models where Best Mode is already available, QuickTake recording mode can be enabled with the Volume Down button.

In iOS 14, you can quickly capture video clips using the QuickTake mode on phones like the iPhone XR and XS. All you have to do is touch the shutter button for a long time. Video format control is another important feature expected. Some say this feature should have come much earlier. This feature allows you to change the video recording resolution within the app itself. Now you need to go to settings every time to change the video resolution. The new change may save a lot of time.

Another change that is expected is the front camera mirror feature. The advantage of this is that you can save the photo as you see it when clicked. Apple usually saves photos for viewing text. You can use or override this feature.

Night mode is also updated in the available models. The gyroscope will now detect the movement of the hand holding the phone.

Exposure Lock – iOS 14 also has the option to lock the exposure. You can set it for photo and video. The fact that you do not have to set the exposure again while taking continuous photos or shooting video may also increase the shooting speed
