HRD Minister Prakash Javedekar has ensured that the students would be relived of the academic burden from the 2019 academic session. Stating that the NCERT syllabus would be reduced by half of its current volume, a Bill on this regard is going to be considered soon in the Parliament. While commenting on the issue, the Union Minister opined that the current syllabus for school students outweighs even that of BA and B.Com courses.
Stressing the importance for all round development for the students, the Minister however emphasized the need for competition for better outcomes.
