Nayanthara, Vignesh’s visit to Tirupati Landed in controversy

The wedding news of Lady Superstar Nayanthara and young director Vignesh Sivan is all over the media. Fans are celebrating the couple’s wedding. But in the midst of all this joy, a controversy has erupted like a stone’s throw. The controversy is related to the Tirupati Darshan conducted by Nayans and Vignesh.

The newlyweds visited the Tirupati Venkateswara Temple the day after the wedding. In some of the pictures spread on social media, Nayantara was seen walking in her footwear inside the temple premises. This is what caused the controversy. Narasimha Kishore, Chief Vigilance Security Officer, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board, said that one should not walk barefoot inside the temple premises.

As soon as we saw the actress walking around in her shoes, our security guards told her not to. They also took pictures inside the temple. That too was forbidden. Kishore said visitors should not use cameras inside the temple. This was reported by the national media quoting him.

The temple authorities have decided to send a notice to Nayanthara for entering the temple in shoes. Authorities said Nayantara was ready to apologize to the temple authorities and devotees on the issue. She added that Vignesh had already apologized.

Vignesh Sivan and Nayanthara got married on the ninth of this month at Mahabalipuram. Superstars including Rajinikanth and Shah Rukh Khan were present at the colorful function. The marriage, which was earlier scheduled to take place in Tirupati, was shifted to Mahabalipuram.
