National Academy of Science ‘Scientific Writing Contest 2018’

National Academy of Science ‘Scientific Writing Contest 2018’: The National Academy of Sciences has invited applications from students of science discipline across the country for science writing contest. The competition is open to both undergraduate and post graduate students in science/medicine streams across the nation. The topic, which the academy has set for this year, is ‘Current Status of Science Education in India’.

The academy allows essays to be written in either Hindi or English, however the word limit of which is 3,000. The essays should be typed with double space and attention must be paid on Syntax and Grammar. Candidates are also required to submit an abstract of 150 words. While submitting the essays, participants have to mention important details, including the address of their University/College as well as home.

The final essays have to reach the following address on or before February 10, 2018, forwarded by the institute. ‘The National Academy of Sciences’, India 5, Lajpatrai Road, Mumfordganj, Allahabad, UP – 211002. Candidates of selected essays would be invited to participate the ‘On the Spot Contest’, which is to take place on February 27 at Allahabad. For more details, visit, http://nasi.nic.in/.
