Music composer Bappi Lahiri passed away

Mumbai: Bollywood music director and singer Bappi Lahiri has died at the age of 69. He was under treatment at a hospital in Mumbai for about a month. He has contributed to many hit songs of the seventies and eighties, such as Chalte Chalte, Disco Dancer, and Sharabi.

Lahiri was discharged from the hospital on Monday. His health deteriorated on Tuesday. Family members called the doctor home and later admitted him to the hospital. Dr. Deepak Namjoshi said that Lahiri had many health problems. His latest release was the 2020 Bollywood film Baggi 3.
