Mozilla Quantum browser now browses 2x faster

Updating their six month old Firefox 52 browser, Mozilla announced its new Mozilla Quantum browser. While the company claims that the latest browser is 2x faster than its predecessor, Mozilla also adds that Mozilla Quantum uses 30% less memory, if we go for a comparative study between the market leaders.

Riding on the new overhauled UI, ‘Photon’, coupled with the new CSS engine ‘Stylo’, what comes as a distinguishing feature of Mozilla Quantum browser is the presence of ‘Google’ as the default search provider across the US, Canada, Hong Kong and Taiwan. That said, Mozilla Quantum comes with a pre installed package of more than 60 search providers, and that of 90+ languages. Available across platforms like Windows, Mac, Linux, the new browser is also available for iOS and Android users. Interestingly, you would also spot a beta version of the feature, called ‘Firefox Screenshots’ within the browser this time.
