Motorola Edge+ launching in India on May 19

Motorola is an affordable smartphone maker, and this year it is taking its game to Samsung and Apple in the world. The Razer foldable phone is fantastic, and with the Edge +, this is great for premium smartphone buyers. The Edge + is Motorola’s traditional flagship phone, but based on its specification sheet, there is nothing traditional about it.

It has all the class-leading features and, similar to the razor, the Edge + has a design that will surprise many. Motorola will announce the price on May 19th, and we assume that the Edge + OnePlus 8 Pro will go hand-in-hand with the Samsung Galaxy S20 and Shiomi’s Mi10 5G. If we don’t get the review unit on hand, we can’t say much about the phone. However, there is a lot to expect and we are looking into all of them.

Motorola Edge +: Features & Specifications

One of the biggest draws of -Edge + is its design. While many phones have curved edge displays these days, the Edge + takes it to the next level. The display on the Edge + Curves, on all sides, gives the appearance of a waterfall. We previously saw this display on the Vivo Nex 3, but Motorola was able to keep the buttons. Motorola raised the revised rate to 90Hz.

– Pronounced curves are not exclusive to the display. Motorola says Edge + allows users to use curves as shortcuts to different functions on the phone. The software allows you to customize the edge to your liking. In case you’re wondering, fun animations and notifications follow while charging.

The Edge + joins the exclusive list of phones with a 108-megapixel camera. Motorola claims that the Edge + can take good photos in all lighting conditions, which we need to check out. In addition to the 108-megapixel camera, the Edge + has an ultra-wide-angle camera and a telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom.

Performance is maintained by the 5G-enabled Snapdragon 865 paired to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. By 2020, this is more than necessary, especially when the display is limited to 1080p.

-In order to back up fire power, Motorola gave it a 5000mAh battery. Many flagship phones do not have 5000mAh batteries this year. Motorola offers 18W Fast Wired Charging, 15W Wireless Charging and 5W Reverse Wireless Charging.

Another draw for Edge + is the pure iteration of Android. Running on Android 10 near the edge + clean and stock, Motorola also offers two Android upgrades. Motorola has built some custom features to allow users to change UI elements. Customizations are similar to what you see on OnePlus phones with Oxygen OS.
Will Motorola surpass the Edge + other flagships?

For that, you have to wait until the phone is in our hands for review. Based on the information already in common, the Edge + has no feature advantages over the OnePlus 8 Pro and the Samsung S20 +. OnePlus and Samsung phones have 120 Hz quad HD + AMOLED displays, which is much higher than the 90 Hz full HD + display on the Edge +.

Motorola can play with the pricing and make it lower than these two phones. However, Shiomi’s Mi10 5G is an Android flagship currently running at Rs 49,999, which is less likely for Motorola. So all this boils down to Motorola announcing the launch date.
