Mohanlal begins shooting for ‘Olavum Theeravum’ in Thodupuzha

The versatile combo Mohanlal and Priyadarshan are reuniting for an anthology, ‘Olavum Theeravum’ and has started its shooting in Thodupuzha.

Veteran Santosh Sivan is cranking the lens for the film. Recently, a picture of Mohanlal in a grey shirt and chequered dhoti, posing with the team of ‘Olavum Theeravum’ has gone viral on the internet.

‘Olavum Theeravum’ is a short story by MT Vasudevan Nair, which was published in an anthology of stories in 1957. Interestingly the short story was adapted on the silver screen in 1970 by PN Menon, and it featured Madhu and Ushanandini in lead roles. Mohanlal will be reprising the role of Bapootty, which was played by Madhu earlier.
