Microsoft to go for Indian language support for email

Microsoft has announced providing support for 15 Indian languages across its apps and services. The services include Office 365, Outlook 2016, Outlook.com and Exchange Online Protection (EOP). That said, as was announced by Microsoft, Indian users would be able to use regional languages, while composing an email. Incidentally, the decision coincided with that of International Mother Language Day.

The latest decision from Microsoft would also allow users in sending and receiving email to or from local language e mail addresses. The service would be made available via Outlook clients on PC and Outlook.com as well as Outlook apps – meant for Android and iOS. As was informed by the tech giants, the company is looking forward for Email Address Internationalisation (EAI) across various products and services.
