After disrupting the price driven Indian smartphone industry, Xiaomi has entered a number of segments. This time, the company has come up with an Mi Bluetooth audio receiver and a selfie stick. Priced at INR 999 and INR 1,099, these devices are part of the company’s portfolio ‘Mi Crowdfunding’. The Bluetooth audio receiver, which essentially is an adapter that can convert wired devices to wireless, is powered by a 97mAh battery. Powered by Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, the Mi Bluetooth audio receiver, however does not come with a charging cable.
The selfie stick tripod, on the other hand, offers a 360 degree rotation, while it can be connected via Bluetooth. The ‘Mi Crowdfunding’ is basically a crowdfunding platform, which promotes innovative ideas and was launched exclusively in India and China.
