While the mystery behind the death of Sushant Singh Rajput is expected to get uncoiled in the coming days, more and more unknown details from the star’s life, are hitting the media. Director Kushal Saveri has commented that Sushant Singh Rajput was badly affected by the ‘Me Too’ campaign, as a result of some high level of sexual harassments charged against him. While the ‘Me Too’ campaign brought some notable revolutionary movements in India, a section of the public and media had clearly taken advantage of it.
At its peak, it was reported that Sanjana Sahi, Sushant’s co – star from Dil Bechara, was said to have been sexually abused by the late star; though Sanjana came forward denying it later, exposing the hypocrisy of the media. Kushal Saveri said that it had a prolonged effect on Sushant’s state of mental affairs. Director of Sushant’s TV serial Pavithra Rishta, Kushal Saveri’s accused those behind spreading fake news as one of the reasons, which contributed to the actor’s untimely death.
While Sushal Saveri maintained that they had tried contacting Sanjana during which the controversy started popping up, they were unable to contact her, since she was in the US back then. As Sanjana was unavailable to make any comment, the media preyed on Sushant, who had a terrible time back then. However, soon after knowing about the incident, Sanjana came forward to solve the issues, until then Sushant had sleepless nights.
