6 more self financing Medical Colleges too have reached in on terms with the MBBS fee structure. As was decided by Justice R Rajendrababu committee, a decision about fee was reached about the following colleges – Karakkonam CSI, Varkkala SR, Kochi Sreenarayana, Kozhikode Malabar, Wayanad DM WIMS and Kuttappuzha Believers Church. The decision was reached in on terms with the fee structure for the academic years, 2017 – 18 and 2018 – 19.
With this, a total of 16 Self Financing Colleges have received guidelines over the fee, which they could impose. However, a number of self financing institutes have approached the High Court, challenging the decision of Justice R Rajendrababu Committee.
